1214 HISTORY OF CAMBRIA COUNTY

Mr. Trumbull lives retired in Johnstown. His wife is deceased. Mr. and Mrs. Gallaschum have two sons: Gordon F., born in 1910; and James T., born in 1923.
    Mr. Gallaschum is a Republican, a member of the Presbyterian Church, Knights of Pythias and Eagles Lodge.




    H. H. Hamilton, Jr., is among the progressive business men of Barnesboro where he is general manager of the Barnes and Tucker Coal Company. He was born at Johnstown, Pa., April 8, 1885, and is a son of H. H. and Mary (Harris) Hamilton.
    H. H. Hamilton, Sr., is a native of Johnstown and the son of Robert Hamilton, also a native of Cambria County. At an early age H. H. Hamilton entered the employ of the Cambria Steel Company, with whom he was identified for 50 years. He is now retired. Mr. Hamilton is a Republican and a member of the Presbyterian Church. His wife is the daughter of William and Sarah Harris, natives of Wales, and early settlers of Johnstown. To Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton the following children were born: William, lives at Somerset, Pa.; Susan, married R. R. Harris, lives in Florida; E. G., lives in Johnstown; H. H., the subject of this sketch; Bessie J., married Charles Reese, lives in Johnstown; Sarah, at home; Mary married William Harris, lives in Johnstown; Philip and Margaret, both at home.
    H. H. Hamilton, Jr., was reared and educated in Johnstown and when a young man entered the employ of the Cambria Steel Company, with whom he was identified until 1914. Since that time he has held his present position.
    Mr. Hamilton married Miss Elsie Leckey of Johnstown, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Leckey. The former is deceased and the latter resides in Johnstown. Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton have two children: John L., born Aug. 11, 1906, a graduate of Barnesville High School, now a student at Washington and Jefferson College; and Mary Margaret, a graduate of Barnesboro High School.
    Mr. Hamilton is a member of the Presbyterian Church and is Sunday school superintendent and chairman of the board of trustees. He is affiliated with the Masonic Lodge, Knights of Pythias and the Merit Club of Barnesboro, and Chetremon Country Club. He is a Republican.
