Other: The Andrew & Susanna Supina [sometimes spelled Dzupina] family lived in Fiddlers Green area of Portage from about 1900. They are my maternal grandparents. They are of Rusyn ethnicity and came from the Subcarthian mountain area of what is now northeastern Slovakia.

Other: I am looking for information on Sylvanus Reynolds and Mary Ann Coster ( Custer?). They are my 3X grand parents. I have found Sylvanus in the 1870 census but the 1880 census lists Mary as the head of household and I can find no information on what became of him.
Other: George Richards b.1812, immigrant from Ireland, was the first person to ever find all four types of coal in Bell's Gap Run. In partnership with Edward Bell, the two men purchased 433 acres and open a number of coal banks. George's children married into the Burge, Haines, Nevling, Smith, Bowman and Beers families.
Other: WHITNEY REEVES HERBERT born ca. 1913 in Johnstown PA per his mother's (Ethel Mae Herbert) birth certificate. She was born in St. Petersburg FL 17 Aug 1938 and he was age 23 at the time. He married Florence Rainey born in Hall River NC- age 17 at the birth of Ethel..and she had an older child.
