Other: My gggg grandfather was Joseph Funk. I know that he married a Susannah Miller. Their son, John, was my ggg grandfather who married Mary A. Paul, daughter of David Paul. One of Joseph's daughters married George Page and bought Joseph's farm.
Other: I am related to the Joseph P. Wilson of the Argyle and Conemaugh coal mines. I believe my Great Great Grandfather Andrew Jackson Wilson died in Cambria Co., visiting his brother's family.

Other: I am researching the names Lucci & Croce in Cambria Cnty. They came to PA from Italy in 1905-1908. They lived in Cambria County -- around Marsteller until the mid-1920s when they moved to Cleveland, OH.

Other: I have been able to trace my family back to Charles McGonigle who died April 1, 1832 and is buried in St. Michael's Cemetery in Loretto, PA. His wife's name was Ann Dever (Diver). (Nancy) Ann Dever (has also been spelled Diver) married Charles McGonigle who d. April 1, 1832 and is buried in St. Michael's in Loretto, PA Hilda Brawley married Francis McGonigle 1907
Other: Earliest Page was George Page & his wife, Emeline who arrived from England approx 1843 to Cambria co living in the Jackson & Taylor areas. The firstborn son, Edward George Page also born in England ca 1841/42 later moved to Blair Co., PA. There were approx 10 children born to George & Emily Page and a few of the children went to live in Altoona, Blair Co., PA. The rest look like they were all staying around the East Taylor area in Cambria Co., PA.
Other: Research: Barbara Ann Green, b. 12 Jan 1821, Cambria Cnty., PA; who married Joel L. Whipple. Some children born in PA were: John, Mary, and Andrew Jackson Whipple. She moved to Winimac, IN, where she died in 1894. I don't know her parents.

Other: (Mary) Kenderes was married to (Michael/Mihaley) Rofar around 1915 in either Ohio or Pennsylvania. Mary had a sister named Suzy who also lived in the same area. Michael also had a brother. Both of them worked in the steel mill in or near Johnstown. Michael and Mary had 4 children that I know of. Annie born( ) died 4/11/1967, Michael born 1918 KIA 1944, Mary born 2/18/1921 died 6/14/1980 and, Pauline born 6/18/1923 died 1/15/2001. (Michael/Mihaley) died sometime between late 1922 and 1924. (Mary) married (Charlie/Vasil) Mitricska 1923 - 1925 and they had 4 children. Margaret Mitricska- Ogando was born 12/30/1925 died 6/9/2006, Emial Mitricska born 8/21/1929 died 2/27/2003, John Mitricska sr born 6/23/1931 still living in NC and, Helen Mitricska-Flynn born around 1936 still living in NJ. The Mitricska/Rofar family moved to NJ sometime between 1926 and 1931 and lived mainly in the Middlesex County area. John and Emial were both in the US Navy around 1950-1952.

JAMES- David James (c. 1813-1879. He and his wife Ann came to Cambria Twp. from Wales. Sixteen children.

Other: The family of Angelo Antonio Falchini lived in Cambria County in 1918 as their daughter, Genevieve Frances Falchini was born there. Angelo worked for a while in a coal mine and later ran the company store.
