MRS. DAISY HORNER KUHN EXPIRES AT HARRISBURG
Former Johnstown Woman, Who Had Been Ill a Long Time, Passed Away This Morning

Mrs. Daisy Glenn Horner Kuhn, widow of William Francis Kuhn, died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Mary Dill Horner, 272 Briggs Street, Harrisburg, at 3 oclock this morning. Mrs. Kuhn who was about 48 years old, was born on Haynes Street, this city, and attended the Johnstown schools until a short time before the Johnstown flood of May,1889. She and W.F. Kuhn, son of the late Col. Henry H. Kuhn and Mrs. Martha Cummins Kuhn, were married at the Horner homestead, 444 Franklin Street, Fifth Ward, on the night of May 30, 1889, the ceremony being performed by the late Rev. Dr. Reuben A. Fink at that time pastor of the First Lutheran Church. Mr. Kuhns death occurred in the Second Ward on November 15, 1897. Her father Benjamin F. Horner, who was a prominent contractor and builder of this city, expired at his home about 13 years ago.
For a year or so before going to Harrisburg about nine years ago Mrs. Kuhn was employed as cashier for Woolf & Reynolds, the local clothiers. During her residence in Harrisburg the deceased was employed as a stenographer in the State Health Department. She is survived by her mother, and a sister Grace, wife of Attorney Charles C. Linton, also of Harrisburg. Mrs. Kuhn was a member of the First Lutheran Church; this city having been confirmed by the Rev. Dr. William Alfred Shipman in the spring of 1890.
The body will be brought to Johnstown on the 12:20 train at noon Thursday for burial in Grandview Cemetery. The funeral will take place from the Pennsylvania passenger station. Services at the grave will be conducted by the Rev. Dr. William Alfred Shipman. The funeral arrangements here will be in charge of the John Henderson Company. Friends are requested to omit flowers.
