| George A. Pebley, aged 40 years, whose health had been impaired for over a year, died at his home, 608 Cypress avenue, Moxham. The funeral will take place on Sunday afternoon, when services will be conducted by the Rev. William McCallum, pastor of the Second Christian Church, with burial in Grandview Cemetery. The deceased was born in Shade Township, Somerset County on December 6, 1875, and was a son of George and Mary Cable Pebley. His mother has been dead for 19 years and his father passed away six years ago. George Pebley came to Johnstown from Windber in 1900 and worked in the Lorain Steel Companys iron foundry until his health became impaired about a year ago, when he resigned his position and became a teamster. He is survived by his widow, who was formerly Miss Lucy Blansett, and four children, Edwin, Ruth, Ida May, and Earl. The deceased was one of a family of eight children, seven boys and a girl. and is the fourth of the number to pass away. His surviving brothers are Emanuel, of the Seventeenth Ward; Samuel, of Dunlo; Charles, of Cairnbrook, and Godfrey of Central City |
