Blue, Larry Dean, 81, Johnstown, died April 1, 2021 at his home. Born November 30, 1939 to the late Loren E. and Elizabeth M. (Nagy) Blue. Survived by loving wife of 62 years, Viona R. (Harrison) Blue; children, Cindy Day (Jeffrey); Greg Blue (Patty Potter); Jeff Blue (Colleen Cale); brother, Terry Blue (Susan); and sisters, Janice Blue; and Debra Fuska (Bernard). Pap to Joshua Day (Brieana); Stacy Serenko (Jon); Marisa Hyland (Joshua); Eric Blue (Elisa); Michael Blue (Lauren); Tiffany Salgado-Blue; Jacob Blue; and Tabitha James (Wade). Pappy Larry to 21 great grandchildren, who thought he was the best Pappy ever. Larry was always available for his family, grandkids, and anyone who needed his expertise and wisdom. Larry was a lifetime carpenter who ran his own business called Carpenter Services and built at least 70 homes within the area. He loved camping, riding his moped, and especially riding his John Deere. He also enjoyed sports, especially the Pirates. Family and friends will be received Monday April 5 from 2-7 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. Additional viewing on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren.
