ENGLE – Lawrence C. “Larry” Sr., 70, Portage, died October 31, 2020, at UPMC Altoona. Born March 30, 1950, in Johnstown, son of Calvin and Ida Alvena (McCreary) Engle.
Preceded in death by parents; wife, Sarilynn (Nagle) Engle, who died January 21, 1998; sons, John C. and James “Bubba;” and brothers, John, Edward, and James.
Survived by sons, Lawrence C. “Larry” Jr., and his wife, Mary, Florida; and Sam, Thomaston, Connecticut; three grandchildren; brothers, Raymond, married to Wilma (Varner); and David, married to Faye (Croyle), all of Torringto, Connecticut; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful chihuahua, Elvira.
Larry was a retired tool and die maker having worked for Highland Manufacturing and EFI. He enjoyed dancing and singing and loved camping with family and friends.
Honoring his request there will be no public visitation or services.
Interment, Pringle Hill Cemetery, Summerhill.
