BODENSCHATZ – Louise C., 95, New Germany, died December 9, 2020. Born December 12, 1924, in Summerhill, daughter of Louis M. and Mary G. (Wirfel) Weinzierl.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Raymond C. Bodenschatz, who died November 12, 1997; infant sister; sister, Mildred Weinzierl; and brothers, Leonard and Gerald Weinzierl.
Survived by daughters, Margaret Wilson (John), New Germany; Karen Motchenbaugh (Ray), New Germany; sons, Donald (Ronaland Boyd), Roaring Springs; Mark (Nancy Chicoli), Ebensburg; and Scott (Debra Smeal), Newstead, New York; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, sisters, Agatha Markum, Johnstown; and Grace Lane, Ebensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Louise was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Germany and their Altar and Rosary Society. She was a talented seamstress, a good cook, enjoyed gardening, and was a very loving grandmother and great grandmother.
Visitation and Funeral Mass will be private to the family.
