Richard Delusa, 78, of Johnstown, died on May 17, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.
Born May 15, 1942, in Johnstown, son of Rocco and Margaret (Varner) Delusa.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Darlene (Hess) Delusa; brothers Nunzio and wife Jean, Charles and wife Grace, Alfred and wife Mary; sister Mary Jane Dunlap and husband Roy.
Survived by his children Rose Gaylor; Richard J. Delusa married to Tracy (Friedhoff); grandchildren, Preston Gaylor and Timmy Hughes Jr. ; brothers Eugene (Mary), Robert (Joanne), Donald (Kathy), William (Connie); sisters Shirley Bates (Raymond) and Camille Jimerson (Alfred). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Richard was a retired groundskeeper at Memorial Hospital. He enjoyed collecting, visiting with friends and going out to eat. He had a special bond with his grandson Preston and would drop everything for him. He frequently attended mass at Saint John Gualbert Cathedral where a Memorial Service will be held at a future date due to COVID-19.
