WESTRICK – William T. “Bill,” 79, Northern Cambria, died March 22, 2008, at his home. Born Sept. 29, 1928, on the family homestead in East Carroll Township, the son of William A. and Rose (Thomas) Westrick. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Nicktown native Rosemarie (Huber) Westrick; brothers, Herman, Bernard and Edgar Westrick; and sisters, Edna Niebauer, Rita Wirfel, Hilda Farabaugh and Ann McAndrew. Survived by these children: Denise, wife of Dave Harvey, Ebensburg; Nancy Brady, Albuquerque, N.M.; Daniel, married to former Heidi Zwiener; Rodney, married to former Ronda Mason; and Janelle, wife of Greg Nealen, all of Nicktown; also 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Brother of Marie Krisko, Portage, and Regis Westrick, Patton. Formerly employed by Krumenacker Building Supply, Springer Oil, Agway, Steven’s Mfg. and PennDOT. Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and Holy Name Society, Nicktown. Former Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 66, Nicktown. Bill was raised on the family farm and enjoyed farming and gardening throughout his life. Spending time with his family and friends playing cards was a cherished hobby. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Thursday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Fr.
