MRS. WILL HUMPHREYS Mrs. Ella, wife of Will Humphreys, of Cambria Township, died suddenly and unexpectedly Saturday morning last, aged about thirty-five years. Mrs. Humphreys' maiden name was Pringle. She was a sister of Mess'rs. Daniel, Joseph, and William Pringle, Pennsylvania Railroad engineers of East Conemaugh, and David L. and Jordan, of Wilmore, and also has a sister living in Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Humphreys were married about two years and a half ago, and t heir early parting is deplored by the entire community, in which both have many friends. One child, an infant boy, survives the deceased. The burial took place on Monday afternoon, after services at the house, in Lloyd's Cemetery, Ebensburg, and was one of the largest funerals ever seen there. Almost a hundred buggies and carriages started from the house in cortege, and the assemblage was further augmented at Ebensburg. The six brothers of the deceased acted as pallbearers, and the bast assemblage testified by their demeanor the deep sympathy they felt for their bereaved family. [another obit; same paper; same day] Mrs. Ella, wife of William Humphrey, died at her home in Cambria township, south of Ebensburg, on Saturday night aged about 35 years. She is survived by her husband and infant children. |
