On Friday, 12th ult., in Washington township, Mrs. Catherine Lilly, consort of Thomas Lilly, aged about 35 years.
The deceased, who was born in Adams county, resided some time in Sinking Valley, in Huntingdon county; she was married in Loretto to Mr. Thomas D. Lilly, one of the oldest and best known citizens; they lived for many years at Lilly's, now Conrad's mill, near No. 4, having settled there when all was wilderness around; always distinguished by her exemplary piety, esteemed and looked up to as a kind and good neighbor, her departure is lamented by the entire community of which she was so valued a member |
