KRUMENACKER--Mrs. Eleanor C., 60, 413 Park Ave., Cresson, died Nov. 30, 1991, at home. Born April 18, 1931, in Cresson, daughter of late Edward and Mary (Madigan) Melley. Preceded in death by husband, Leo F., and daughter, Lynn Ann. Survived by these children: Kevin, married to former Connie Fordick, Cresson; Regina, wife of John Buffoni, Ebensburg; John, Cresson; and Beth, wife of Jerry Burkhart, Ebensburg. Also survived by two granddaughters, Lynn Ann Buffoni and Kayla Lynn Krumenacker. Sister of Ed, Paul, Mary Jo Adams, Larry and Martin. Also survived by sister-in-law, Rita Leap, and several nieces and nephews. Was graduate of Mount Aloysius Academy and Mount Aloysius Junior College, Cresson. Taught at St. Francis Xavier and St. Aloysius schools and served as principal of St. Aloysius School, Cresson. Member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and its choir. Member of merger commiteee of All Saints Catholic School, Cresson. Originated the Altoona Mercy Hospital Cancer Support Group in Cresson. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where Legion of Mary will recite Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Monday and wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Aloysius Church, the Rev. William Mullen. Interment, St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
