Jesse E. Weaver died at his home No. 2915 Wylie Avenue, Pittsburg, at 11 o'clock Thursday night, after an illness of several weeks of a complication of diseases.

The deceased was born fifty-three years ago near Wilmore, this county, being a son of Jacob and Elizabeth Weaver, w3ho died in this county many years ago. He was a brother of Jacob Weaver, residing near Wilmore, and James, of Munhall. Jesse Weaver lived for twenty years at South Fork, where he worked in the mines, going a little over a year ago, to Pittsburg, where he had since been engaged in the grocery business.

Jesse Weaver was married twice, his first wife being dead. His second wife was Mrs. Susan Blanchard, whose daughter Mabel is the wife of Attorney J. A. Coleman, of Pittsburg. The deceased was the father of William A. Weaver, of Company L., Seventeenth United States Infantry, now in the Philippines.

The remains of Mr. Weaver were taken through the city to South Fork this morning by attorney and Mrs. Coleman, Mrs. Weaver being unable to leave home on account of sickness. Interment was made this afternoon in the South Fork Cemetery, the Rev. F. D. Ellenberger, pastor of the United Brethren Church in that place, conducting services at the grave.

Jesse E. Weaver was a veteran of the Civil War and was a member of Daniel T. Stineman Post, Grand Army of the Republic, South Fork. He was also a member of the South Fork United Evangelical Church; South Fork Council, Jr. O.U.A.M., and South Fork Castle Knights of the Mystic Chain.
