| HASKETH*, J. Howard. South Fork, Dec. 6, J. Howard Hasketh, aged 23 years, a well-known resident of this place, a brakeman for the Pennsylvania Railroad Company, was killed in a freight collision about 4 o'clock this morning near Dunlo on the South Fork-Windber Branch of the P.R.R. It is said that Mr. Hasketh was engaged in placing a car on a siding, but had not dropped it far enough and as a result his own train collided with the freight car, knocking it off the track and killing Mr. Hasketh. He was employed as a brakeman by the P.R.R. for about five years. The deceased was a son of Mrs. Mary Hasketh of 511 Wilbur street, this place, and of the late Jacob Hasketh, who died a number of years ago. He was united in marriage less than a year ago to Miss Della Allen, who survives with his mother and the following brothers and sisters: Edgar, Harrison, Fred, Leslie, Leroy Hasketh and Mrs. Ethel Fleck, all of this place; Ida and Merton Hasketh, both at home; Mrs. Henry Lester and William Hasketh, of Ruthford. Funeral services will be conducted from the South Fork Methodist Episcopal Church on Saturday afternoon, no definite time having been set. The services will be conducted by the Rev. J. C. Brown, pastor of the church. Interment will be made in the local cemetery. The body has been prepared for burial by Undertaker George Brothers, of this place.
