South Fork, Nov. 13--Samuel Forrest, aged 52 years, a well-known merchant here, died last evening at 6:50 o'clock at his home following an illness with a complication of ailments that finally developed into typhoid fever.
Mr. Forrest was born in Scotland and was married in Clearfield County. He had lived in South Fork for ten years. Besides his widow, he is survived by three children--Christina and Agnes, at home, and Thomas, of Franklin.
Mr. Forrest was a member of the U. E. Church and funeral services will be held there at 11 o'clock Sunday morning, when services will be in charge of the Rev. F. E. Hetrick.
