| LEECH. -- In East Conemaugh, on Thursday evening, June 11, 1884, James Leech, aged about 53 years. Funeral notice hereafter. [Same newspaper; different page] JAMES LEECH. After a somewhat protracted and painful illness Mr. James Leech, father of Prof. Leech, the well-known instructor, died at his home in East Conemaugh Borough about 8 o'clock last evening. He was not an old man, his age being about fifty-three years, but his constitution was completely broken down. He was well-known in the neighborhood in which he resided, and was highly esteemed. The remains will be interred in Headrick's burying ground, but the time of the funeral has not yet been fixed, as the friends are awaiting the arrival of relatives from abroad. |
