| Killed in the Woods. Thomas Rager, a well known and prosperous farmer of Jackson Township, was killed in the woods a short distance from his home on Friday by a log which rolled off his sled and passed over his body. He was al{…torn} at the time, and the first intimate{…torn} his young wife had of the terrible misfortune was when her husband failed to return at the usual time in the evening.
