JOHN RUTLEDGE DEAD

Well-Known Resident of Livermore Expired Suddenly of Heart Failure Monday Night.

John Rutledge, a nephew of Capt. George Rutledge, of the South Side, died suddenly of heart failure at the Rutledge home in Livermore, Westmoreland County, Monday night, aged about fifty-five years. The deceased had not been well for some months, but was able to be about until a short time before his death. His father was James Rutledge, deceased, a brother of Capt. Rutledge and also of the late Irvin Rutledge. John Rutledge is survived by his wife, whose maiden name was Carpenter, and by a married son living at Beaver and a married daughter residing in New Brighton. The funeral took place at Livermore Wednesday, interment being made in the Livermore Cemetery. John Rutledge was a member of the Old Canal Boatmen's Association of Pennsylvania.
