JOHN HIRSCH IS DEAD
Well-Known Ralphton Butcher Expired Monday at the Memorial Hospital, Aged Sixty Years.
John Hirsch, a well-known meat dealer of Ralphton, Somerset County, died on Monday at the Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient for several weeks. He was sixty years of age. Mr. Hirsch lived in Johnstown for many years before going into business at Ralphton. Besides his wife, whose maiden name was Mary Geis, the deceased is survived by the following children: Mrs. Frank Hornick, of Walnut Grove; Mrs. Joseph Martze, of Broad street; Mrs. August Meyer, of Morrellville; John Hirsch, of Chicago; and Paul Hirsch, of Michigan. The funeral took place at 9 o'clock yesterday morning from St. Mary's German Catholic Church, of which the deceased was a member. |
