BAILEY, Jeffrey Fitzgerald "Joe"

Jeffrey Fitzgerald BAILEY, son of Fred J. and Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Bailey, died of kidney trouble at the parental home, 334 Main street, South Fork, at 2:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon, He had been ill for two months, but his condition did not become critical until yesterday morning.

Funeral services will be conducted at the home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. D. L. Headlee, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment will be in the South Fork Cemetery.

Miss Martha Bailey, of Derry, a sister of the deceased, was called home yesterday, together with two brothers, John W. Bailey, a student at Gettysburg College, and Glen Emory Bailey, a student at State College.

"Joe," as he was familiarly known among his playmates, was in his seventh year, having been born at South Fork December 19, 1914, and was a student in the second grade of the South Fork Schools. He is survived by his parents and the following brothers and sisters: Miss Martha Bailey, employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad Company at Pitcairn and residing at Derry; John W. Bailey, a student at Pennsylvania College at Gettysburg; Glen Emory Bailey, a student at State College, and Jean, Mary and Fred J. Bailey, Jr., at home. Jeffrey F. Bailey was a member of the South Fork Methodist Sunday School.
