Frank Ball, Sr., a miner employed by the Stineman Coal Company, died of pneumonia at his home in Bealtown, a suburb of South fork, at 1:30 o'clock this morning, aged forty-four years. The Ball family formerly resided in Clearfield County, locating in South Fork some years ago. The deceased is survived by his wife and five children, as follows: Sarah, wife of George Clifford; William, married; and Frank Jr., Russell, and Miss Caroline Ball, all of South Fork. The funeral will take place Tuesday afternoon, when the deceased's pastor, the Rev. Titus Lowe, of the South Fork M. E. Church, will conduct the obsequies. The deceased was a member of South Fork Lodge, Knights of Pythias, and of the Improved Order of Red Men in that place.
