WEAKLAND--Helen M., 71, Emeigh, died April 29, 1987, at Indiana Hospital. Born Sept. 23, 1915, at Punxsutawney R.D., daughter of late James and Olive (Postalwaite) Gill. Preceded in death by husband, Samuel; grandchildren, Beth Ann and Kelly Jean; and brothers, William, Thomas, and James. Survived by sons, Robert and James, both of Emeigh; and grandchildren, Beverly and Robert Weakland. Sister of Louise Hertzog, Altoona; Julia Surkala, Reynoldsville R.D.; Marcella Kishbaugh, Virginia; and Rose Gilnett, Dubois. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at The Long Golden Rule Funeral Home, Barnesboro, where wake service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, the Rev. John Vago. Interment, East Ridge Cemetery. |
