Mrs. Mary P. (Thomas) Waltz, 69, former resident of Carrolltown, died on Saturday, August 11, at her home in Irwin. She was born at Carrolltown on November 10, 1875.

Surviving are her husband, Henry G. Waltz, and five children--Arthur G., of Wayne, Mich.; Mrs. Irvin J. Bearer, Carrolltown; Richard J. and Thomas E., at home, and Mrs. Charles Uhlig, Irwin. The deceased was a sister of J.J. Thomas, Green Castle, Ind.; V.C. Thomas, Madison, Wis.; Mrs. Henry Blum, Ebensburg, and Mrs. W.E. Roche, Sewickley.

Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. last Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Irwin. Interment was in the Carrolltown cemetery.
