Thomas Stewart
Thomas Stewart, aged 75, died yesterday at his home; 446 Kennedy Ave, South Side. He had been ill a long time. Edward G. Stewart, a son of the deceased, resides in Tampa, Fla,. And is expected to arrive here early Thursday morning to attend the funeral services that afternoon. Thomas Stewart was born in England, but came to this country in early manhood. Eight years ago he was placed on the retired list by the Cambria Steel Company. Mr. Stewart was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church. His widow and the following children survive: David and Thomas, Daisytown; Edward G., Tampa, Fla.; Mrs. David Jones, East Main Street; Mrs. Harry Maulte, Lincoln Street and Charles, Mary and Ralph, at home. A brother, Harry Stewart of Morrellville and three sisters, Lucy, Harriet and Sarah, all in England, also survive him. |
