| Genevieve Florence Dodson Genevieve Florence Dodson, youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Dodson, of Ashville, died at her home in that place on Monday, Dec. 4th at 4 o'clock of dropsy of the heart, after an illness of 5 months. She was 9 years, 1 month and 6 days old. Besides her parents she is survived by two brothers, Warren and Walter, and two sisters, May and Margaret, all at home. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at St. Monica's church, Chest Springs, at 10:30 after which interment was made in the cemetery connected with the church. In Memoriam Close the curtains gently, softly, Shut the golden sunlight out. Bid the children 'neath the window Hush their laugh and merry shout Why burst forth those tears of anguish Wailings bitter, sobbings deep Let's kneel down and gently whisper, Genevieve's "only gone to sleep." Dear, loved one! We shall miss thee When we meet for evening prayer. Thy loved voice shall never reach us We shall see thy vacant chair Push aside the snowy cover Over which dim shadows creep Then draw near and gaze in silence Dearest Genevieve's "gone to sleep."
