| JUSTUS APEL, OF EBENSBURG, DEAD Well-Known Resident of County Seat Died Last Night; Funeral Tomorrow From a Staff Correspondent. Ebensburg, Sept. 15. -- Justus Apel, aged 86 years, one of the oldest and best known residents of this place, died about 6:15 o'clock last evening at his home on Sample street. Mr. Apel had been in poor health for some time. Death was due to general debility. The deceased is survived by the following children: Herman Apel, the well-known coal operator, Albert Apel and Miss Sophia Apel, all of this place; John Apel, of Braddock. Funeral services will be held from the house at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The services will be conducted by the Rev. J. R. Thomas, pastor of the Congregational Church, this place, and the Rev. R. F. Heany, pastor of the Presbyterian Church. Interment will be made in the cemetery at his place. |
