ALEXANDER -- Mrs. Katie M., 87, 315 Grant St., South Fork, died Dec. 3, 1978, at Memorial Hospital. Born March 16, 1891, on Mineral Point R.D., daughter of Christian and Miria [sic] (Paul) Ford. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Floyd, who died March 1953; and nine brothers and sisters. Survived by these children: Earl, married to former Lois Black, Cleveland, Ohio; Esther, widow of Roy "Red" McClellan, and Dorthey [sic], wife of Earl Brummert, both of South Fork; Floyd Jr., married to former Bertha Fesney, Mineral Point R.D.; and Clifford, married to former Mary Jane Gordon, Belsano; also 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Sister of Bertha Alexander, Church of the Brethren Home, Scalp Level. Member of Wesleyan and Holiness Church, Portage. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Homer J. George Funeral Home, South Fork. Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wesleyan and Holiness Church, the Revs. Alvin Cottle and J. I. Fetterman. Interment, Ford Cemetery. |
