Death of Roy Sutton
The home of the late James Sutton in Clearfield township has again been visited by death.
Roy, a son, succumbed to typhoid fever at 10 o'clock on Monday evening, Dec. 9. He was aged 17 years and 9 months. The funeral took place at the Catholic church in Chest Springs, the interment being in the church cemetery after a requiem high mass.
The grief of the Sutton family is very pathetic as James, the father, died of the same disease Nov. 22. Ralph and Walter, the only boys at home, are also ill with fever but are getting better.
The people of the neighborhood have proved their sympathy by taking care of the work about the farm until Augustine Storm was secured to take care of the stock and of the work on the place. |
