Johnstown Daily Tribune, Wednesday, November 27, 1918
Mrs. Polly Mishler Blough, widow of C. C. Blough, died at 10 o'clock last night at the Blough homestead one mile west of Kelso, Somerset County, in her 87th year. Her death was due to general debility. The deceased was born in Somerset County in April, 1832, and was married many years ago to C. C. Blough, whose death occurred in 1898. Mrs. Blough is survived by a son, Josiah Blough, of Conemaugh Township, and these daughters: Mrs. William Calvin Hershberger, with whom Mrs. Blough made her home; Mrs. Polly Shaffer, of near Windber; Mrs. John Kniss, of near Krings; Mrs. Lavina Baumgardner, of near Davidsville, and Mrs. Anna Baumgardner, of Walnut Grove. The funeral will take place on Saturday morning from the Stahl Mennonite Church, where the services will be in charge of Bishop James Saylor and Elder Levi Blough. Burial will be made in the family graveyard.
