| Johnstown Tribune; Oct 24, 1895 Her Remains Laid to Rest Near Hooversville Today Miss Kate Swank, aged thirty-nine years passed peacefully away at the home of her mother--Mrs Reuben Miller--at Hooversville, Somerset County on Tuesday night, the cause of her demise being pulmonary trouble. She ahd been sick for some time, but had been bedfast for about three weeks. The funeral took place at 11 o'clock this morning, the obsequies being conducted by Rev Wetzel, pastor of the Stoyestown Reformed Church, of which she was a member for many years. Interment was made in the Mount Tabor Cemetery. Among the relatives in attendance at the funeral were Mr. David F. Swank, his son Lyman, and daughter Nannie of South Street, Mr and Mrs. Levi Swank of Napoleon Street, Mrs. Harry J. Horner of Dale Borough and Mrs. Frank Mummau of Conemaugh. |
