Death of Mrs. Wm. Weakland. [Emma M. Elder]

Mrs. William Weakland died at her home in Susquehanna township Sunday morning at 4:15 o’clock from liver complaint. She was aged 49 years, 8 months and 27 days.

Mrs. Weakland was born in Elder township April 11, 1866 and was married to Mr. Weakland in St. Benedict’s Catholic church at Carrolltown on August 22, 1886. She lived in Elder and Susquehanna townships all her life.

Deceased is survived by her mother, Mrs. Edward Manion, of Susquehanna township; her husband and the following children: Viola, wife of Morris Wyland, of Spangler; Regina at home; Blair, of this place, and Lucinda, David and Augusta, at home.

Funeral services were held at 9 o’clock Tuesday morning when a high mass of requiem was said in St. Bernard’s Catholic church. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
