| MRS. FRANK HELSEL, OF OAKLAND, EXPIRES Young Woman Dies in Stonycreek Township, Leaving Husband and Six Small Children Mrs. Frank H. Helsel, aged 25 years, died of pneumonia last night at the Helsel home in Oakland, Stonycreek Township, after an illness lasting about ten days. The funeral will take place on Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock, the services to be conducted by the Rev. Oscar M. Wilson with burial in Grandview Cemetery. Mrs. Helsel was an attendant at the services in the Homestead-avenue United Brethren Church. Mrs. Helsel, whose maiden name was Mina Agnes Rhoades, was born in this city December 8, 1894, and was a daughter of George C. Rhoades and Mrs. Sarah Rhoades, who died in this city three years ago. Harry Rhoades, a brother of Mrs. Helsel, was murdered by an Italian in Scalp Level last November, and a sister, Mrs. John Widmann, died in the Seventh Ward, this city, within a few hours after the murder. Frank Helsel, a representative of the firm of T. C. Jenkins & Co., Pittsburg, and Miss Rhoades were married in Maryland in May, 1910. Mrs. Helsel leaves her husband and six children, Frank H., jr.; Durward, David, Aubrey, Trevelyn and Traymore. She also leaves her father, George C. Rhoades, three sisters, Mrs. Henry Emmell, Mrs. Percy Hite and Mrs. John W. Miller, and two brothers, George S. and John H. Rhoades, of this city, and Emmett Rhoades, of Schellsburg, Bedford County. |
