| John Beck, an aged and respected citizen of Elder township, died at his home near Hastings, on Wednesday, February 18, 1899, aged about seventy-five years. Deceased was a native of Germany and for about forty-five years he resided on the farm where he died. Besides his wife he leaves six children. |
