Funeral of John A. Bender.
The funeral of the late John A. Bender, who died at his home in Carroll township Sunday, was held Tuesday morning at Carrolltown, with interment in the church cemetery at Carrolltown. Mr. Bender was 58 years of age, having been born Oct. 14, 1853. He is survived by his widow and these children: Lottie, Henry of Cresson, Mattie, Joseph, Maggie, Annie, Mary, Felix, Clare and Leo. His mother also survives, and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Henry Link of Hastings, Mrs. Amanda Wetzel, August A. Bender and Harry E. Bender, all of Carrolltown; Ida M. Bender, at home, and W.B. Bender of Pittsburg. |
