MRS. LIVINGSTON DIES AT SOMERSET
Deceased Was Wife of Local Physician and Was Sister of Former Sheriff
Lavina (Stutzman) Livingston, wife of Dr. L. S. Livingston, died last evening at Somerset after an illness lasting about a month. Mrs. Livingston made her home at 372 Somerset street, Fifth Ward, Mrs. Livingston was born in Upper Yoder Township, this county, on February 26, 1864, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Stutzman, deceased. She was a sister of former Sheriff William S. Stutzman, now residing in Ohio; Jacob Stutzman Funeral of Mrs. Livingston Funeral services for the late Mrs. L. S. Livingston, who died yesterday at Somerset, will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the home of Mrs. Sara (Stutzman) Strayer, of 126 Sheridan street, Morrellville, sister of the deceased. The body was brought to Johnstown last evening by the John Henderson Company. Mrs. Erma (Livingston) Thompson, of Bedford, De., only daughter of Mrs. Livingston, arrived in the city last night to attend the funeral. The eulogy will be given by the Rev. C. C. Sollenberger, pastor of the Morrellville Church of the Brethren. Burial will be made in Grandview Cemetery. |
