| RUDOLPH. Died, in Allegheny township, on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1880, of diptheria, after five days' illness, CAROLINE, daughter of Adam and Louise Rudolph, aged 16 years. May she rest in peace. Cambria Freeman 10 Dec 1880; p3 We were mistaken, it seems, in ascribing the death of Miss Carolina Rudolph, of Allegheny township, to diptheria, as we did in our last issue. A bad cold, combined with mumps and an attack of phthisic, to which she was subject, is said to have been the fatal malady. |
