SEESE, Clyde A. "Chuck", 73, Geistown, died Feb. 18, 2001, at home. Born Nov. 13, 1927, in Paint Township, son of Lowman and Julia (Poet) Seese. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Glenn. Survived by wife, former Gwendolyn (Hobba), to whom he was married 52 years, and children, Elaine, wife of Louis Handel, Elton; Daniel, married to former Helen Hanczareko, Pittsburgh; and Janet, Carlisle. Also survived by grandchildren, Tina Benton; Charles Handle, and wife, Tania; Gregory Seese; and Michael Seese, and great-grandchildren, Kevin Nagle and Susan Handel. Clyde was an avid gardener. Retired heavy equipment mechanic from Bethlehem Steel Corp. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Henderson-Ketterer Funeral Home, Geistown. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel at Arbutus Park Manor, 207 Ottawa St., the Rev. Charles Goodin. Interment, Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to the Salvation Army. |
