MARY JANE GALLAHER
Mrs. Mary Jane Itell Gallaher died at the home of her daughter Mrs. G. Bender, at 7:00 o'clock Monday morning. She has been sick for some time and death followed an attack of heart disease accompanied by a hemorrhage of the lungs. The deceased was born in February 1846 at Loretto and in her infancy her parents Mr. And Mrs. Joseph Itell, moved to Portage township where they resided until their death. In May 1874 she was married to James Gallaher, of Portage township, she being his second wife. She is survived by one brother, James Itell of Portage township and the following step children John and George Gallaher of Portage township and Miss Elizabeth Gallaher, Mrs. Margaret Little and Mrs. C. W. Shyrock all of Wilmore. Besides the above several other relatives survive.
The remains were taken to Wilmore Wednesday morning and interment was made in st. Bartholomew's cemetery. |
