| SLEEPING SICKNESS VICTIM SUCCUMBS Miss Gladys Pringle, Aged 16, Junior in South Fork High, Passes Away Summerhill, May 7 - Miss Gladys Pringle, aged 16 years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Pringle, residing a few miles north of Summerhill, died of sleeping sickness at the parental home at 2 o’clock this morning. She became afflicted with the disease about three weeks ago and during the past week had been in an unconscious state. The deceased was a student in the Junior class of South Fork High School. She is survived by her parents, one brother, Everett, and two sisters, Rowena and Alverine, all at home. Funeral services will be held at the Pringle home at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon and burial will be in the Pringle Hill Cemetery. The body has been prepared for burial by George Bros. undertakers, of South Fork. |
