CRUTE -- Lyla E., 83, Rockville Road, South Fork, passed into glory April 18, 2004, at UPMC Lee Regional. Born Sept. 25, 1920, daughter of Roy and Edith Blanche (Custer) Crute. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Edward. Survived by these brothers and sisters, Virginia, wife of Thomas Buzzard, Johnstown; Joseph, Lade Lake, Fla.; David, married to former Irene Stafford, South Fork; and Mary, South Fork. Retired from Lee Hospital after 25 years of service. Member of Wesley United Methodist Church and Dames of Malta, both of South Fork. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Homer J. George Funeral Home, Salix. Service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wesley United Methodist Church, the Rev. Arlene R. Bobrowicz officiating. Interment, South Fork Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that in memory of Lyla, donations can be made for the ongoing work of the Lord to Wesley United Methodist Church. |
