| Johnstown Woman Dies In Pittsburg Mrs. Lavina Pringle Succumbs Seven Months After Husband; Was Visiting Daughter Local relatives received word this morning of the death of Mrs. Lavina Custer Pringle, aged 65 years, of 190 David street, Dale, widow of W. S. Pringle, who died at 1 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. G. W. Wathen, of Pittsburg, with whom she was visiting. Her death was due to uremic poisoning, following an illness of three weeks. The deceased's husband dropped dead last July at the new Pennsylvania Railroad station while waiting for a train. At the time of Mr. Pringle's death the Pringle family resided in the Seventeenth Ward, and following his death the widow removed to David street, Dale. Mrs. Pringle is survived by two sons and two daughters - Charles Webster Pringle, of Jackson Township; Harry C. Pringle, of 260 Second street, Conemaugh; Mrs. Stella Gibson, of Derry; Mrs. Grace Wathen, wife of G. W. Wathen, of Pittsburg. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Varner, of Second street, Conemaugh. Mrs. Pringle was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ephriam Custer, both deceased. Mrs. Pringle was a lifelong member of the United Brethren Church. The body will be brought to Johnstown this evening and removed to the home of the deceased's son, Harry C. Pringle, where funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Interment will be made in Headrick's Cemetery. |
