| BARNESBORO MAN SUICIDE -- George Thornton, aged 78, committed suicide in a ravine near his home at North Barnesboro one day last week, by firing a bullet from a revolver into his mouth. Workmen nearby discovered the body after hearing the shot. Death followed immediately. His wife and several grown children survive. He became despondent because of ill health. |
