WISSINGER - Mrs. Eliza A., 99, Sidman, died April 6, 1996, at Lee Hospital. Born April 30, 1896, in Ebensburg (Welsh Settlement), the daughter of Robert and Annie (Jones) Roberts. Preceded in death by parents, husband, John L. Wissinger, who died in 1970, and four sisters, four brothers, and daughter-in-law, Dorothy "Doris" (Motchenbaugh) Wissinger. Survived by three sons, John J., Sidman; James R., married to the former Erma Allison, Ellicott City, Md.; and Isaiah Eugene, married to the former June Walker, Sidman, nine grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Sister of Ethel Bruce, Oil City. Also special friend, Nancy Margeta. Member of Sidman United Methodist Church, Sidman. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sidman United Methodist Church with viewing one hour prior to service at the church, the Rev. Richard Ralph. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Wissinger would have celebrated her 100th birthday this month. |
