PARKHILL LADY DIES
IN CHURCH HOME
Mrs. Callie Wissinger, 82, who had lived for many years in the Parkhill section, died at 3:20 o'clock this morning in the Scalp Level Old Folks Home of the Church of the Brethren where she had been a resident for the past few months.
The deceased was the widow of Silas D. Wissinger, who died in 1933, and the daughter of the late P. J. Stiffler and Rebecca (Garman) Stiffler. She was born in Indiana County.
M. E. Stiffler of Cherrytree is a surviving brother. Charles Thornton Jr., a grandson, also survives and there are eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Irene Thornton, a daughter, and one son preceded Mrs. Wissinger in death.
Friends will be received at the Carl E. Davis Funeral Home in Conemaugh after 7 o'clock this evening and funeral services will be conducted there Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. Joseph I. Gingrich, pastor of the Conemaugh Brethren Church, which the deceased attended. Interment will be in Headrick's Cemetery.
