MRS. ELIZABETH HICE
South Fork, June 9. -- Mrs. Elizabeth Hice, aged 86 years, died at 11 o'clock last night at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. John Mangus, near Wilmore. Her death was due to diseases attendant to old age.
Mrs. Hice was born in Jackson Township. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Rorabaugh, came from Germany. Mrs. hice was married twice. From her first marriage to Wendell L. Meyers, the following children survive: Sarah, wife of John Mangus, of near Wilmore; Elizabeth, wife of George Myers, of Summerhill; Amanda, wife of Alex Story, of Levett; Isaiah Meyers, of Tacoma, Washington. To her second marriage, to William E. Hice, the following children survive: John F. Hice, of South Fork; Ella May, wife of Fred Maus, of Levett. Her son, Isaiah, is on his way here from Tacoma, and is expected to arrive today.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon, and will leave the house at 1 o'clock. Services will be held at the Lutheran Church at Summerhill with interment in the Lutheran Church cemetery at Summerhill. |
