THE ONE HUNDRED AND NINETY-FOURTH PENNSYLYVANIA INFANTRY,
COL. JAMES NAGLE.
Capt. William R. Jones' Company F, of Johnstown, belonged to this regiment. It was organized in Camp Curtin on July 22, 1864, for one hundred days' service, and was mustered out November 6, 1864. On the day of its organization it moved to Baltimore and went into camp in Mankin's Woods. About September 1 it was taken to Camp Carroll, a mile southwest of the city, on the line of the Baltimore and Ohio railroad. A portion of Company F was detailed for provost duty and to escort and guard prisoners on their way through the city. Its roster is as follows :
