Hoppel ranks among the enterprising and successful business men of Patton, where he is engaged in the lumber business. He was born in Cambria County, Nov. 23, 1883, and is the son of Henry J. and Theresa (Ager) Hoppel. Both Henry J. and Theresa (Ager) Hoppel were born in Cambria County. He died in 1898 and his widow resides at Carrollton, Pa. They were the parents of the following children: Harry and William, deceased; Albert, lives at Spangler, Pa.; Edward, lives at New Kensington, Pa.; Minnie, married Michael Beck, lives at New Kensington, Pa.; Frank lives at Ebensburg; Margaret, married E.
